
The transition to a new school year can be exciting, but so much change can also bring about many questions, concerns, and new challenges for students and families. If your child in on the autism spectrum, we want to help you to make the start of next school year as seamless as possible.
This session will provide you with tailored tips and guidance on how to work with your child and their school to ensure the most appropriate supports are in place and that your child feels confident heading into the new year. Gain insight into what supports schools can offer and what might be possible to set your child up for success.
Following the presentation, there will be a live Q&A where you will have the opportunity to ask our psychologist any questions about your child’s transition to a new school year.
Sessions will be delivered by Katie Glynn, an Educational & Developmental Psychologist, who has years of experience working across primary, secondary, and special education school settings, supporting students on the spectrum and their families to transition to new teachers, classrooms, environments and peers.
