Who It's For

Legend Land is designed for children and teens who thrive in visual, interactive environments.

Children & Teens (Ages 6โ€“17)

  • Anxiety and big emotions
  • ADHD and focus challenges
  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Friendship and social difficulties
  • Autism and neurodivergence
  • Emotional regulation
  • Identity and positive thinking

Why Minecraft Works

Many neurodivergent children find traditional face-to-face sessions overwhelming or difficult to engage with. Minecraft provides a familiar, low-pressure environment that naturally encourages focus, creativity, and problem-solving. By embedding therapeutic activities within a world your child already loves, our registered psychologists can work alongside them in a space where they feel genuinely at ease โ€” making it easier to explore feelings, build skills, and practise new ways of thinking.

All sessions are delivered by AHPRA-registered psychologists using CBT and ACT frameworks โ€” the same evidence-based approaches used in traditional settings, inside a world that actually engages your child.

What a Session Looks Like

Every session is structured, purposeful, and guided by a registered psychologist.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Book a free inquiry call and we'll walk you through everything.

No prior Minecraft experience is required. Our registered psychologists are experienced in guiding children through the Legend Land environment at whatever pace suits them. The familiarity of the Minecraft world is a benefit, but it is not a prerequisite โ€” children who have never played before are warmly welcomed.

Legend Land is designed for children and teenagers aged 6 to 17. Our registered psychologists tailor the therapeutic approach and quests to be developmentally appropriate for each individual child. Please contact us to discuss whether Legend Land may be a suitable fit for your child's specific age and needs.

No referral is needed to get started with a free inquiry call. To access Medicare rebates, your child's GP can prepare a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), which may allow rebates to apply. For NDIS-funded participants, services may be accessed where psychology support is included in your child's plan. We're happy to answer questions about funding during your inquiry call.

Legend Land is genuine, evidence-based psychological therapy โ€” not recreational gaming. All sessions are delivered by AHPRA-registered psychologists using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) frameworks. The Minecraft environment is a purposefully designed therapeutic tool that provides an engaging, low-pressure space for children to practise real psychological skills.

The structured quests and activities within Legend Land are designed in collaboration with our registered psychologists to target specific therapeutic goals identified for each child.

Your child will need a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, a microphone (built-in is fine), and ideally a webcam. We'll provide guidance on the specific software or platform required once you book. Most families find they already have everything they need at home. If you have any concerns about equipment, please raise them during your free inquiry call and we'll work through it with you.
